Researcher, Game Designer & Developer

Chaima Jemmali

Hi! I am a PhD student at the College of Computer and Information Science at Northeastern University. I hold an Engineering degree in Networks and Telecommunications from the National Institute of Applied Science and Technology in Tunis.

I have always been fascinated by the intersection of Science and Art and that interest came into practice when I was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to pursue a master's degree in Interactive Media and Game Development at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

The masters fueled my interest in research. My goal is to study the design of video games and identify the mechanics that can improve engagement and learning. One of our approaches include using machine learning and data analytics to understand player behavior and learning processes in educational games.
