Gameplay Engineer, Researcher, Game Designer & Developer

Chaima Jemmali

Hi! I am a Gameplay Engineer who holds a PhD in Computer Science from Khoury College at Northeastern University and an Engineering degree in Networks and Telecommunications from the National Institute of Applied Science and Technology in Tunis.

I have always been fascinated by the intersection of Science and Art and that interest came into practice when I was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to pursue a master's degree in Interactive Media and Game Development at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

I am an Engineer at heart and love processes, logic reasoning, and problem solving. Being also an Academic, I am interested in developing deeper understanding of Human Computer Interaction with the focus on games. I would love to help bridge the gap between game research conducted in Academia, and game development in the industry. Both fields could benefit from greater collaboration.
